Played just a bit of HORSE today to keep off the rust.

My gawd. Downloaded a Live at the Bike show. People have just lost their damn minds or they have alot more money than they know what to do with. 20-40 NL game and guys calling big reraises with shit like 47 sooooooooooooooted and J6o and CR all in on flop with K5 soooooooooooted after the tightest player at the table limped reraised big with AA and the flop comes down Q93 or something like that and the guy with AA is basically all in except for 400-500 hundred in a 4000K pot, do you really think he is going to fold for that last 4-500 hundred even if he has AK here. Jesus christ I am looking forward to hitting those Vegas live games.

Had a nice day today although the profits weren't anything to write home about. Met up with CJ at the Mirage and we walked around to various casinos (Mirage, Bellagio, Ballys, Paris, Venetian, Caesars) checking out poker rooms. We played for about an hour at the Venetian which has a very nice room and then ended up back at the Mirage for a very soft game. Although I haven't got a ton of hours in I am running pretty damn good at the limit holdem game (> 3 BB/hr) which is nice and restores a little confidence in myself at the limit tables. These live games are amazingly good. May head out a little later for some NL action downtown or may just pack it in early as I am picking up MVP tomorrow morning if the hurricane doesn't sweep his ass away.

August 1-28: 1049.00

MVP and Rhound managed to roll into Vegas today and we all hooked up and played some cards at a few venues. Later CJ met up with us and we headed to Caesars for a little poker action at the end of a very long day for all of us although when I left all three of them were still at the tables or waiting to get on. Had a real nice time overall with the only low light being a damn cell in my battery went out on me this morning before I could head to the airport to pick MVP up and donking off 80 online this morning while finishing up a damn Empire bonus. Managed to make a few duckets in the live games but nothing spectacular in what managed to only be about 4 hours of playing throughout the day.

Well August ended in a downswing due to a string of infortunate beats.

August 1-31: 844.00

Had a nice time visiting with MVP, Rhound and CJ over the last few days. Hopefully gotten these string of ugly beats out of my way for a while.
