well the obvious move is to just pot it and hope he folds. i don't like checking. your hand is never a large equity dog and any reasonable amount of fold equity greater than say 10% will make betting +EV.

another line that i wouldn't take but is worth considering is to bet something like 1/2 the pot. it's not meant to generate any fold equity, but it builds the pot while saving a full pot bet on the river so you can either 1) value bet your made hand or 2) have ammo for a meaningfull river bluff.
