"Also, if I knew it was you making that play ,I might move in on you like I mentioned in my response. I see your point though."

You've mentioned on a few occassions ways you would play against me as in me being a LAG, and most of them involve being overly aggressive back at me. That's not the best way to deal with a LAG. The best way is just to always call them down and on every street make them think they still have another chance to buy the pot from you.

I slaughter people who think the best strategy is to just bet stronger with mediocre hands. That's part of putting people out of their comfort zone. The best way to kill a LAG style is just to be incredibly passive. Check to me when you are in first position, and just call me when you have position on me. Let me bluff off my chips. Pushing here simply lets me off the hook with my garbage. Calling reels me in. There is no counter-strategy to someone who just calls everything, except for me to tighten up. However, if I can change gears quickly enough without you noticing, that could be disasterous as well.

Now obviously when the pot is large enough, there are enough draws, etc. you can push. But just in general, being passive is the key.

I can't take credit for this though, it was the most valuable audio lesson Caro used to have on cardplayer.

This particular situation might be different, since we're both short and there's a good amount in the pot. But in general, thats the best way to handle a LAG.
