To say the least, I'm running very, very bad. So my reads feel all wrong. Help

Villain is 34/18. He's pretty laggy. He limps the button with a full stack and I check in BB with 6[c] 7[c]. Full stacks.

At this table, NO ONE is folding to a CB. EVER

So

Flop 6[s] 6[d] 2[s] ($7). I lead $8. All folds and villain thinks and calls.

Turn Q[s] ($23) I check, and the guy has checked the btp button as it instantly bets 23.
I think, "hmm, that's the 1millionth time that's happened this week." I decide to call for better or worse.

River ($69) 9[c] I check, he checks the btp button again and instabets.

So where have I screwed up here? Let me have it. This type of scenario has happended so much lately, I don't even know how to play'm.
