no real reads on how these guys play HE, the 1st 3 positions all posted so I obviously hadn't played with them before

wasn't trying to be fancy here, just I would only get hands that I want in the pot to fold if I raised. I guess I had a bunch of people trapped for 3 SBs if I raised, I dunno again seemed like a strange spot

Yes, you hav e an ubeatable hand.... no reason to scare them off... you are looking to get as many bets as possible on the turn, so you need to let another card hit that plays into more hands. This flop is pretty scary and I'm surprised the action went like it did. That turn is horrible. A red Ace or King would have played a lot better for you. IF instead [ah] did hit, and you got at least one caller between you and the bettor, I would be inclined to wait until the river to raise, maybe hopefully getting into a raising war then after everybody else had contributed as much as they would.

Course this really depends on who played what in what position. In this case, raising the turn is the best bet, hoping the SB has [as] so you can cap turn and hopefully river, making up any bets that you lose by making them face a 2 bet.

I'm a little confused about the suits. There are squares where the flop 7 and the river 5 would have suits.

I think you got really fancy there by just calling on the flop the first time with so many people in, but calling the second time when everyone has already put two bets in the pot just cost you a ton of money. When you are last in action with the nuts with six callers, I think you really have to raise here. I don't see your hand as unbeatable because of the club flush draw while you have spades. Any club and you are potentially drawing dead. But, on the flop when the CO raises and everyone(except the BB) calls, you will mostly likely get 4 more small bets into the pot there by raising(3-betting).

I just see the CO raising the flop as a dream scenario. 3-bet that sucka. But, I am still raising on the flop because of the flush draw. Live, I'm probably playing it close to the way you played it(unless it's an aggressive group), but online I like a raise or reraise on the flop.
