Of course the loser had talk crap for the rest of the session.
No reads because I'm playing Madden 07

Poker Stars

Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Turn: [Ah] (4.75BB, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: [Jc] (10.75BB, 2 players)

I like the way you played it actually.
I don't like checkraising there on the flop headsup in 6-max. I don't think you get 1010 or JJ to fold and you are clearly behind in the hand on the flop. Keep the pot small until you hit here I think since you don't have much fold equity in this raised pot and you are OOP.
I obviously preach like everyone else here being aggressive but sometimes check/calling a street or two is the best line even though I hate to admit it sometimes

The turn could be argued to cap unless I had a read the the player was a rock as there are alot of hands a typical 6max player here has that you beat already and you have outs to the nuts. But I like the call, I am not saying you SHOULD cap, I am just saying if you did I wouldn't have a problem with it. This is read dependent of course.

I disagree that the turn is raise/fold without the draw - with no read I don't think you can say this. What if he was 65% VPIP / 15% PFR/ AF 5? You would clearly call that person down.
