Yesterday, I lost three stacks in both $25s and $50s to set miners, including 44 and 22, twice. Any way to see this coming, or anything to counterattack them?

I feel like I've been slimed by these guys.

Pretty easy really, just bet every time you're in a pot with them and fold if they show aggression, obviously give up if you're called.

You usually don't win any big pots against set miners, you pick up small ones and try not to lose it back when they hit.

How do you identify a set miner BEFORE you lose a big pot to them?

Okay, I just need to be sure that I understand the definitions here, sorry if this is really basic.....

Set miners are people that play any PP, even to a raise in hopes of making a set, right?

Is this considered + or - EV? I do this a lot, (to any reasonable raise). Is that bad? I read the thread earlier on sets (forget which one exactly) and concluded that it could be +EV if you play "set or fold". Right? Wrong?

"Floating" is smooth calling a large bet?

Again, sorry if this is basic stuff, but I have never really heard these terms.
