$5/$10 NL 6 max at Full Tilt

#1) MP limps, I limp [Jd] in the cutoff (I know some of you hate this, but lets get past that). Button limps and both blinds play.

Pot $50 Flop [5d][4d]. SB leads $125, BB calls $125... MP folds. Whats my play?

SB ($750)
BB ($660)
Me ($1000)
Button has us all covered.

#2) Folded to me in the SB with [3h]. I complete.

Pot $20 Flop [Qh][9h]. BB ($525) I have him covered of course. I bet $20 and he calls.

Pot $60. Turn . I bet $40 and he calls.

Pot $140. River . I check and he pushes $455 all in.

My notes say exactly 1 word "IDIOT". That doesnt tell you much but to me it means he doesnt know what hes doing in the least little bit. I cant remember why I wrote that but I did just see him raise KJ...bet the rag flop...check the turn...bet the river when K hit which also completed a flush and then he called a 3x check raise.

Hand 1, raise.
Hand 2, call.

P.S. I have no problem limping in behind a limper with a hand like that.

Hand1 SB overbets the pot 2.5x, and BB calls. SB must have a strong hand, set or straight, maybe 2 pair, BB might be on a flush/str draw. Make a raise to 350-375, I would expect the money to go in on the flop.

Hand2 I'm guessing you checked the river to induce a bluff, so you have to call. If you bet and he pushed you might think he could have a higher flush.

#1) I pushed all in. Its rare that I see a $125 bet into a $50 pot but then theres a call also? WTF? Im not folding this flush and I think by pushing in it looks more like a semi bluff with maybe [Jc] or something like that.

The SB called with [7s] and the BB folded.


#2) I checked the river to induce a bluff but JESUS. i wasnt expecting a $455 all in into a $140 pot. Some guys might do that with a boat hoping I call thinking its a total bluff.

I did call though. He has [8d]. Looks like my notes were dead on. Hes an "IDIOT".
