$50NL 6-max @ Tribeca.

1 EP limper. i raise OTB to $2.50 with [4c]. villain calls in SB. limper folds. villain is loose and does some strange things but i think he's aware of what he's doing. doesnt seem like a fish. he's also selectively aggressive in some pretty good spots. i have $110 and villain has about $90.

flop: [9c][Jc]
pot: $5.50

villain bets $1. i raise to $5. he calls.

turn:
pot: $15.50

villain check/calls my $12 bet.

river:
pot: $39.50

this is bad. very bad. villain thinks for 3 seconds and bets $30. i think for 3 seconds and fold.

this is an ok time to fold the nut flush, yes?

EDIT: initially i had the flop action was wrong. villain led $1 and i raised to $5.

I generally think this is fine to call.
People will often bet here as a bluff.

But if your gut said you're beat, I wouldn't argue...

I think it is a good fold that at the same time is relatively easy if you stop for 3 seconds and think about it, which you did.

Looks like a good fold, though I'm not sure I could bring myself to do it.

i put him specifically on AK with the . there's an outside chance he had [7c] and i was dead on the flop...but i think AK is much more likely.

i dont see what else he can have and be confident about his river bet. i have the Ace. all the other big clubs are on the board.

That is a really tough fold, but I didn't disagree with it. This hand is sick. Can't imagin opponent having anything other than the [kc] here.

for those of you who call this....what hand(s) do you put him on? do keep in mind he's not stupid. he knows how to read the board and seems to understand the strength of his hand relative to the board.
