#1) Is this river a value bet?
$5/$10 NL 6 max. I open from the cutoff to $35 with
[7c]. The BB calls. My only read is that the BB called my $35 raise from the BB earlier with KT and called my flop and turn bets with a Txx flop (which had flush draw). I check behind on the river which was a J and I won with my AT.
Effective stacks $2250. Pot $75. Flop
[6c][3s]. He check / calls my $50 flop bet.
Pot $175. Turn
. He checks. I thought about checkign behind because I didnt want to get check raised off this pretty good hand but decided to value bet $100 which he called.
Pot $375. River
. If he had 54 or something like
[9c], he just hit, but Ive rarley been check raised on the river at $5/$10. They usually lead the river when they hit so I cant check behind. Do you value bet this and if so , how much?
#2) Is this a value call?
UTG raises to $30. He starts with $448. No read. I reraise to $105 in the BB with KK which he calls.
Pot $220. I get the obligatory
[5h][4h] flop. I bet $130 and he calls.
Pot $480. Turn
. He has $210 left. I thought about pushing but decide to check and of courrse he pushes. Im getting 3.2-1. Does he push JJ or whatever often enough to make this a value call?
