Villain is somewhat new to the table but after 20 hands he appears to be an idiot. He has $170, I have him covered. I was distracted by a big hand at another table and so I was not paying any attention to this hand until the river when I realized I had stumbled into the full house.

Turn ($7) . Check, check, check.
River ($7) . I check knowing someone will bet. Villain bets $10, MP folds. I raise to $30 and Villain pushes.

If I had been paying full attention to the hand I would have led out on the turn, which probably would have made the river much easier to play.

I think you are all correct.
The river check raise definitely looks like a bunch of bullshit, so when I get raised all-in my slick play actually backfires and puts me in a tough spot.

Anyway, villain had AA. It all happened so fast that I didn't even consider AA. If I'd been paying attention to the hand and noticed he was UTG I may have just called his river bet. And thinking about it now I'm not sure my raise makes any sense. I'll probably only get called by a 2 (and possibly not even) and a 6 is going to re-raise me, forcing me to make a big decision for what will probably be a split pot. Ugh.
