Warning: this is possibly not very interesting

Opponent on my left (with position against me) has been making life slightly miserable for me. He's min raised me in both raised and unraised pots several times. He seems tight aggressive otherwise (18/10 or something). He has $800 and hasn't really played any pots except against me (and he's won all of them).

The only > small pot we played, he raised UTG, I called with TT and check-raised an 8 high two tone flop. He 3-bet and I folded (possibly bad).

I haven't noticed opponent on my right, he has $300. So typical donkey I guess.

I have $650. I've not got out of line, I doubled up with AA pre-flop immediately, and then bled away to TAG.

So TAG raises to $14 UTG, folds to SB (donkey) who calls, I call in BB with [5d]. It's Party by the way.

Flop , $42 in the pot. SB leads for $20.

Clearly a draw forms a pretty big part of SB's range. A weakish hand is also quite likely. If I just call obviously he's drawing for free (unless TAG gets frisky, see below).

If I call and TAG calls, he probably has a draw, which is bad.

On the other hand TAG's shown he's willing to put big raises in, possibly without much of a hand. If this happens and I then push, my hand will look unfeasibly like a draw, and I should stack him.

a) Is this stupidly FPS and I should just raise and hope TAG comes over the top of the bet-raise?

b) Is your answer any different if the board is slightly less drawish, eg T52?

Easy Raise. If he has an overpair he probably is gonna push, if he has AK or AQ he may not even call a flop bet. Make them both pay to draw if they are or get in all the money now so that TAG doesn't get scared if the board pairs on the turn/ flush hits, straigtish hits. Easy raise I think.

Kent I think your off here, a TAG is not gonna just raise any two cards that's not a TAG at all. He would need at least A10 I think to raise here or overcards + the flush draw.

Slowplaying is rarely ever correct in middle-stakes nlhe. Flat calling here is pretty terrible imo, for the very reason that there ARE a lot of draws out there. Make em pay.

I think calling and raising are both good, which one to choose depend on the table dynamics, i.e. probability that the TAG will raise you, your image, etc.

I can't give a better answer without more info/being at the table.

I don't like slowplaying usually, but here you are guaranteed to 1) trap some dead money, and 2) almost guarantee you get a big pot with TAG 3 of 4 times.
