I've found my self in trouble lately playing with maniacs... how do you guys handle them...

This type of player I'm talkin about... wont fold to any preflop raise and will be playing anything around 75% to 90% VPIP .... over aggresive and will often bet into the pot with any pair, waiting to hit a second pair and crush their opponents. They manage to build HUGE stacks but also suffer a lot of variation within a session... My premium hands often don't play well against them... eg. I raise preflop 4 - 10 x BB.. with AA, KK, AK.. etc.. they call with any two cards to hit 2 pair, any flush, any coonectors, etc... so.... basicly I just found my self waiting for a set wich often comes too late.

So how do you guys handle this players?

True, there is more than one way to skin a cat...i was sayling that's what I would do...
You might get more out of him in one hand, but I would have a higher probably of milking him and milking him longer, imho.
On 2nd thought i'd probly make a 1/4 pot bet instead of 1/2, to give him more confidence.
There's ALways more than one good way to play...but AXN now can have confidence NOT to be afraid of maniacs, but to be glad to see them.
