Just sat down, so no read on villain. He instapushed turn, if that means anything. Preflop/flop critique appreciated as well since I generally limp these low PPs.

Preflop: I have [5s][5d] in CO. I raise to $3.50, folded to BB who calls. He has $96 and I cover.

Flop: ($7.50) [2h][4s][6h] BB leads out $7.50, I raise to $25, and he calls.

Turn: ($58) [3h] BB mashes the bet pot button, leaving ~$10 behind. I push it in.

thoughts?

Can't really comment on PF play since I don't play shorthanded games and don't raise small PP's.

Flop is pretty loose considering no read, but there's plenty of draws out there so a semi-bluff is a real possibility (and I'm sure that's what you were thinking), so I can't give it a bad review overall.

I'd go ahead and call/push/go for it all here. Villian could have a big pair with the suited card, a set, A5, or worse. I think this is just one of those times you shake your head and hit "rebuy" if you see his two hearts.

I would probably call this flop and then re-evaluate the turn. I feel like you're completely bluffing with 55 and he could easily have something like 56, call your raise, then check it to you. Raising the flop gives you no idea where he's at IMO, whereas you can usually tell by his turn bet or bet yourself if he checks the turn to you.

Now that I look at the turn action I think he has 56. I think a set would have kept firing on the flop, so I doubt he has one. My guess is he has the [5h]. This looks really really close to me, I wouldn't fault you either way, but at just about 2:1 I'm probably calling.

You played this hand perfectly and I would be happy to get all-in on the turn with this action.

What do you do if he calls your raise on the flop and turn comes blank like [9c]? Check behind and call a resonable river bet?

If a blank fell on the turn, I'd play my hand like a draw and chk behind and look to get a cheap showdown if I miss. On the flop I knew I was likely behind, but I thought I could push him off his hand, which I thought to be 77-TT. I also raised b/c I was the PFR and wanted to continue to show aggression and take control of the hand. If it was unraised, I'd just call and see a turn. I was really looking to take it down right there on the flop, but got lucky on the turn. He had 7[7h] and at first I thought he was just some donk, but the more I think about it, the more I like his play, since, with no read on him, I would probably lay down a big pair to his turn push.
