NL 100. My opponents both have 130 stacks, I have them covered. No real read on them but the average table vpip is above 60% and in general people are fish.

I've got in MP. UTG open-limps and it folds to me I make it 8, I get two callers behind me and UTG folds. We are three to the flop and I am first to act.

Flop comes:

I lead for 22 and get a caller.

Turn:

I check, he bets 11, I call.

River:

I check/call his 23 bet.

Either bet 3/4 pot on the turn, or CRAI. There's a great chance you have the best hand, and if not, you have a lot of outs to the best hand.

Looks fine, you've slowed down because you're OOP and the flush hit plus you let him most likely think he's value betting his Kx.

The passive fish pond of a site you have means, in my opinion, that being super aggressive with premium 1 pair type hands is less of an issue because you can see quite a few flops for cheap and more than make up for any value you might miss on AA and KK.

Alright this hand is almost exactly the same as the one I posted last night, only I didn't have the ace of diamond.

If Stoneburg did not have the ace of diamond you'd want him to check/call down the way he played it right?

I just don't see CRAI on the turn as being very +ev unless he really thinks this guy to be a total fish of all fish. If so, check-raising may not be the worst play ever. If he were not the biggest fish imaginable, it is a very donkey play. He would be putting in $100 to win $41, where only a flush or set would call him and he is down to a mere 7 outs. In general situations, I would like a bet or check-call in this situation better than erratically sticking it all in. You gain much more value from TP hands and you save money when you are the one drawing. You don't even have to bet very aggressively in this situation here, since the only fear is that TP hand makes 2pr or trips AND you don't hit the nut flush. I just hate the idea of trying to shove all your chips in the middle ASAP every time you pick up AA. You will get punished for this harshly the higher you get, b/c it is very obvious to the skilled player what you are holding.

I am out of position and the flush just hit. The reason for my check/calls is that I figure my opponent has one of two hands:

1. A monster (ie: the flush)
2. Something stupid (TPNK/underpair hand or pure bluff)

First scenario I have 7 outs, second scenario he has 1-5 outs so it is at least close to a WA/WB. I figure that by checking I will induce bluffs and keep pot size down while I am behind.

I think a check/raise is a supremely bad idea because I will force out all the hands I am ahead of and get me stacked with few outs when I am behind. I don't like leading out either since I'd have to fold to a big raise.
