Except folding preflop, am I overplaying it? I think that this is my biggest leak right now. I don't get out of the hand until turn or worse, river and end up losing bigger pots than I should, but otoh I feel that if I always fold when I get bet into I'll be ran over... I have more hhs of this kind.

Any advice?

Easy fold on flop, you just have overs. I dont like AJo UTG but I think its fine, and I much prefer a raise to a limp.
Way overanaylzing the hand, just play it simple, (call to look strong) just sounds like an excuse to justify FPS.

I like AJ UTG preflop.

Don't like anything else.

Excession:
I did this today, limped hands like AJ in EP, and it worked out rather good. I'm not saying I won a lot with it, but I probably lost less, since I could fold for a raise pf and get out of the hand early. OTOH I don't like limping, since it gives the initative to someone else, and when I'm OOP I'd like to have the initiative to give me a better shot at winning the hand if I don't hit, but that might be wishful thinking.
Good points that are worth incoroporating at least partially.

1-2 is full of donks who will call an UTG raise with any ace or practically any 2 cards. AJo is definitely a raising hand 6max utg, if you flop top pair you are usually good. Ppl are gonna be calling with A5o, JQo, etc, and your good kicker puts you in a good spot. Especially when typically weak players call from the blinds with trash its easy to extract money from them in position.

Generally you should raise hands that are good enough for raising, so you get more action when you raise monsters. Just dont get fancy at 1-2 when you get callers and miss the flop.
