meh. I guess he really had 6 outs since he picked up a gutshot on turn, but still, this sucked.

Don't check the flop!

Why bet the flop against the UTG raiser? If he has TT-KK, he folds. The only way I extract value from the bet is if he has AJ/AQ. Of course I didn't think he'd min-raise 77 UTG.

Even with him having 77 (results-oriented), he'd likely fold the flop bet. I wanted to give him a chance to throw in a continuation bet at least. When your opponent is drawing to less than 4 outs, you don't need to end the hand quickly. You should try to extract the most value possible. I was hoping he'd at least throw in a c/b on the flop.

I do too, just not here. If he raised from a later position definitely, but not against an UTG raise (and min-raise at that). If he raised more than a min-raise, I would have considered it more of a push/fold situation. Here I was playing AKo out of position against an UTG raiser with semi-tight stats up to now (18/12 or so) but who I also had few hands on.
