villian raises to 2 mp calls lp calls i call w/ ako

flop is k 7 3 rainbow pot = about 8

i lead for 5 villian calls others fold......... imho this is all standard here is where i screwed up:

turn is a 9, i check (at the time i was thinking pot controll, which is hard to do oop. ) villian bets 1/2 pot....... im putting villian on ak here, and i hate this spot because if im right the most i can hope for is 1/2 pot. so do i bet out turn.. if he raises all in, i almost have to call, right? or is the turn check right and i should fold to the bet. a lot of times if im SURE someone has ak with me ill go all in to try and take the wole pot down, but here i dont know.
