I have been running ridiculously bad, "worse than I ever thought possible" for a little over 2 weeks of full time play. Past few days it's gotten worse. Monday I lost 5 buy-ins ($500). Yesterday I got set-over-setted twice, lost KK to AA, lost a big pot with AA to QK. Today I lost a big pot with KK to AA, lost two boats to better boats, and am down $300 on the day. I've been posting a lot of this in my journal but hopefully no one is really reading it.

Over the past 3 weeks my bankroll has gone from 4.5K to 2.5K. Some of that was $200nl, but most of it was $100nl. I'm generally very very good about letting the bad beats roll off me, but it's starting to get tough.

If anyone who has been through this has any words of encouragement, I'd love to hear them. I've been pleased with myself for sticking with it, as I believe most people in my shoes would have called it quits sometime last week. But man, after today, I feel like I'm getting close.

Uhm, I've been reading. Misery loves company. Although the money isn't as bad, I've been on kind of a rollercoaster card wise myself over the past few months. A horribly bad month, then a couple of weeks running hotter than I've ever run, and now 2 more ridiculously horrible weeks. As far as words of encouragement, there are a few things I keep telling myself before and after every session and they've really helped me keep the tilting to a minimum.

1 - It's all just one long session. It doesn't matter whether I win or lose today or tomorrow. I need to look at it all as one session.

2 - Caro's Threshold of Misery - I'm sure your familiar with the concept.
