With these stack and pot sizes, IMO it is a must check. You have a big draw and if you bet and he CR AI (stack sizes are just good for this move) you will face an ugly situation and will have to call.
I also think that you won't gain much by betting here because if he has an overpair(or better) you have a billion of outs to improve and raise his bet on the river. While is he has some kind of a draw you can win the showdown unimproved.
