OK, so Im back to $1/$2 for a while until I get back on track. Ive broken even for the past 9 weeks in total, although I am up about 5 buy ins in the last 3 weeks. Im 4 tabling the $1/$2s for now and these guys are much worse than I remember. Ive never 4 tabled 6 max before, but I figure if my win rate is the same as it is at $2/$4 when Im 2 tabling I'll make the same amount (but I know my win rate will be higher)....so anyway....

Total moron who min raises constantly min raises to $4. I call on the button with [Ts]. Both blind call.

Pot $16. Flop [6s][2s]. Blinds check. Moron bets $16. Hes been betting $2 on the flop after these raises, so he must have something this time (or absolutely nothing). he has $70 left. The blinds have full stacks. Whats my play?

1) Raise all in
2) Rasie enough to put moron all in, which will commit me if a blind has a monster and reraises.
3) Flat call

Flat call vs moron and hope to bring a blind in as well?

Given stack sizes, you could also raise a non-stack-committing amount (like $48), and get to see what the blinds do before moron acts.

If moron does something stupid like calling and checking the turn, then you can check behind and fold the river unless you hit an A or the flush.

Call to bring the others along...be happy to push if anyone raises.

How you played it....call

I would think that the chances of the blinds CR would actually make you want to call more than raise. The blinds are only going to raise if they have a hand that makes your overcards dead in most cases. In a case where your overcards are no good dont you want to be able to fold to a raise? I agree with the majority here, I would lean towards just calling. With your read on this guy you can say that more likely than not he has a hand here and he isnt going to fold if you put him all in, I am not sure why you think he is going to fold 50% of the time, in my experiance this tell means stregnth. So call $16 on the turn getting 2:1 pot odds and about 7:1 total implied odds, you are going to improve on the turn about 30% of the time. Since you are assuming a coin flip situation you think your overs are both good so if you hit the turn you call his all in.

I don't see why you should be worried about the blinds check-raising you here - if they did, they'd have to have 2-2, 6-6, or 8-8 (maybe a pair and a flush draw [8-x of spades] if they are aggressive). The only hand you'd really want to be up against is 8-x of spades, and it'll probably be a set like 95% of the time.

By just calling, you can get yourself off of it if the odds aren't right. If you re-raise huge and the blind raises all in, you commit yourself to calling and probably get it all in with a flush draw against a set.

If you just call, the blind pushes with a set, and the original donk re-raises all in with A-A, K-K, Q-Q, etc. than you could possibly be getting laid the right odds to call into a three-way all in with the Nut-flush draw.

Because he didn't re-raise on the button to isolate against the raiser, you seriously have to be concerned about 2-2, 6-6, and 8-8, and so I think it's preferable to let them do the raising so you can see if your getting laid the right odds (and their hand will be transparent).

Also, by just calling, you can induce loose-weak players to call with 8-x, 6-x, and 9-7, 5-7, hands that I really wouldn't mind getting called with - after all, you've still got position, and they are loose-passive, so they'll just check-call even if they hit their cash card on the turn. Then if the original bettor doesn't bet enough on the turn, you can just call knowing that the loose-weak player will call even if he made his trips, two pair, or straight on the turn, and your gonna get to see the river with even better odds.

I like the call here as well.

If it was heads up I would raise allin. This is why I would reraise preflop with a nice hand and position on this donk.
