I like the flop bet.

I think I prefer half pot on the turn, or even less. If you're behind to the flopped flush, you lose less. Also you could well have just fallen behind JT. The only hands you're ahead of that you would like to pay to draw are KT and QT. At the same time, if someone is chasing the bare or you definitely want them to continue chasing. A check/call would be fine too. It gives you pot control, and also some clue whether the other guy has the made flush or not.

The river card gives you a big hand, but you're still behind the flopped flush. If you had bet less on the turn then you would have room to value bet the river and fold to a push. As played, with less than a pot bet left and top trips top kicker, you sort of have to play for it all. Given that, I think the check/call is fine: he could push there as a bluff or as a value bet with KT or QT.

Overall, I'd say 8 parts bad luck to 2 parts bad play.
