I've been finding myself in this situation a lot lately where I'm handcuffed by the villain's short stack. I feel like I'm constantly leaking money in these hands.

So on the flop the pot is $33 and villain has $30 left. He is pretty passive. Is there any other way to play this?

Flop is only thing debatable IMO, and even then it's a good check.

Aces Rule- when the pot is $30 and villain has $30 left. how does hero make a CB and then fold to a CR?

northview- we check the flop in hopes of occasionally winning bets from QQ/JJ and occasionally not stacking off to AK.


in this situation, and in a lot of situations HU in position....its pointless to "represent" a big hand by betting the flop. he won't fold an Ace to your flop bet...and KK beats all the same non-ace hands that AK beats.
