Once again...the min raise

$200 NL at UB.

UTG ($245) limps, Button ($65) limps, I have them covered and raise to $10 in the BB with [Ah][Ad]. They both call.

Pot $28. Flop [Ts][9c][3h] I bet $18. UTG calls and button folds.
Pot $64. Turn [2s] I bet $40 and he min raises to $80. I punch my Bill Frist doll and then do what?

push. I also think your bets are pretty weak and he might be taking advantage of that.

I actually agree with Golden here, I actually think this just may be one of those situations where min-raise does not equal monster. Seems a lot more like the guy isn't buying what you're selling but doesnt have a great hand himself so is looking for a relatively cheap way to make you throw away an AK.

Wow - spots like this just suck donkey balls.

I guess you've gotta be worried about 3-3 and 10-9 suited here, but it honestly feels like he's testing the waters to see if you have A-K or A-Q.

Feels to me like he has A-10 or a straight draw with a back-door flush draw (Q-Js, 8-7s), but who really knows? I can't get away from it with the minimum-raise, it just looks like such a feeler raise - would he really re-raise the min. with 3-3 or 10-9 here? I just doubt that, and for this reason give him either the draw or a 10 with a good kicker that he is trying to find out if is good.

Push and get ready to reload if he shows you 3-3 and decided to play it like a moron - sometimes you just gotta do it in my opinion, because all too often (without a read) the guy is donk min-raising on the turn with something ridiculous like J-10. It's a horrible bet and a horrible bet won't beat you here (hopefully).

Well if I push and he shows me 33, then how exactly did he play it like a moron? He got me all in as a 19-1 dog.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

If this is such an easy all in, then why does everyone think min raising with a set is a donk move? Everyone one of you wants me to push even after Ive said a million times that a min raise is a monster (especially in a raised pot on the turn).

So min raising a set on the turn must be a genius move because it will stack an overpair every time. Why do you think everyone does it?

meh.

i've been making all the wrong decisons with these lately. is the bet on the turn a mistake perhaps? kepping the pot small might be wise (obv in hindsight it seems to be.)

I've run into TONS of min raises lately and they have weak generally weak. Sometimes its a monster sometimes its a HA I KNOW YOU ARE CBing TAKE THIS!

Whenever I see one I pay more attention as to who does it with what. I think deeming it a monster everytime is an easy way to get pushed around.

I would call, probably, with intention of folding to a big river bet :( .
If he bets something like 40-60 I would call on the river.
