I agree that the flop bet is bigger than needed, but why does he have to rep the T on the turn?

If he bets the turn and gets raised he has to fold. Thats obvious. So if he bets $25 and gets called, heres what happens

#1) Villain checks the river to hero and hero checks behind. Cost $25 and you got to showdown
#2) Villain leads the river. Hero has to fold. Cost $25 and got no showdown

OR

Hero can check behind on the turn like h edid and call the river (which is not mandatory by any means), for the same $25 cost and he got to showdown. Because he checked the turn, villain will bet alot of hands like 99 , JJ, busted flush draw ect.

So for the same $25, hero gets to showdown every time and wins money from hands he beats and bluffs.

I think betting the turn is a mistake.

I agree with Ice I think betting the turn is a weak play here.

I'd go $11 on the flop, check the turn, and then call a resonable river bet or bet myself if checked to.

99,JJ,K4s,A4d, and 100 other donk players that floated the flop will bet that river... If you bet the turn, a lot of aggressive 6max players will raise that all the time, just so that when you fold they can show 77 or whatever and show off how cool they are...

I would've bet $11 on flop, checked turn, called $25 on river...
