II guess I'll just have to start pushing my big pockets OOP preflop ? At least it seems better than the alternatives below . Help me out on these hands please.
Hand 1:
Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players
Stack sizes:
UTG: $176
UTG+1: $131.85
CO: $126.80
Button: $86.30
Hero: $205.70
BB: $315
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, Button folds, Hero raises to $16, 3 folds, CO calls.
Flop: ($38, 2 players)
Hero bets $30, CO calls.
Turn: ($98, 2 players)
Hero ?.
I decided he was too short to fold, even though the flush is likely, he only has $80 behind and the pot is $98. I pushed, don't know what the alternatives are, C/F seems awfully weak, if I C/C I'm commited to an any river bet all in anyway.
Hand 2:
Unknown villain. I only had 30 hands on villain (25/15/x) and haven't seen any showdowns with him yet.

Stack sizes:
UTG+1: $195.95
Hero: $193
Button: $242.10
SB: $268.55
BB: $180
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with
UTG+1 folds, Hero raises to $8, Button calls.
Flop: ($19, 3 players)
Hero bets $15, Button calls.
Turn: ($49, 3 players)
Hero ?
My instinct was to pot it to protect against the flush / str8 draw, now I think maybe just checking and hoping to see a save river card is the way to go ? Which would you go for and why ?
