OK, Im glad at least one sane person agrees with what I did because its bugging the crap out of me. I called the turn. The river was some brick
and he pushed. I called and he had
[Tc]. I almost put a fist thru my monitor.
This has happened to me a few times recently so the question is this?
If I think he will push the river with TT type hand (and this guy might even do it with ATs unimproved)...is it best to just call him down to get the rest of his money all the times he doesnt catch his miracle or is it best to push the turn and take the pot now since its already rather big.
Im thinking that in big pots like this one, its better to just push the turn and if he folds JJ, so be it. A guy who continues to bet a flush draw when he may well be already drawing dead is likely to call my all in with JJ anyway.
Also, since Id rather take a beating than get outdrawn like this, maybe its best to just push and take the lower variance route.
