OK, Im glad at least one sane person agrees with what I did because its bugging the crap out of me. I called the turn. The river was some brick [c] and he pushed. I called and he had [Ac][Tc]. I almost put a fist thru my monitor.

This has happened to me a few times recently so the question is this?

If I think he will push the river with TT type hand (and this guy might even do it with ATs unimproved)...is it best to just call him down to get the rest of his money all the times he doesnt catch his miracle or is it best to push the turn and take the pot now since its already rather big.

Im thinking that in big pots like this one, its better to just push the turn and if he folds JJ, so be it. A guy who continues to bet a flush draw when he may well be already drawing dead is likely to call my all in with JJ anyway.

Also, since Id rather take a beating than get outdrawn like this, maybe its best to just push and take the lower variance route.

Putting in another raise with KK is fine, but its not mandatory. My raise from the button means nothing and he knows that which is why he will reraise very lite (including his reraise here with ATs). If I re-reraise him, hes going to realize I have a real hand and fold most everything.

I dont want ATs folding preflop here because hes going to bet ANY flop (just like he did here). Its a much better idea to call his reraise and raise the flop (or continue to slowplay in some spots). My plan was to raise the flop, but when the flop was QQx, I decided to just call. I was way ahead or way behind and the odds of him catching up (if he doesnt have AA or a Q) are very slim.

If I just call the flop, I could easily have something like 88 and he will bet the turn again.

If I was a math expert. maybe I could one day figure out if calling the turn is OK. I will sometimes get even more momney out of him on the river but will sometimes get outdrawn. After much thought, I think pushing the turn is best because the pot is so big I dont want to take the chance of getting outdrawn and its also so big that he may call me with JJ.

As far as tilt goes, I had to turn off the computer immediately after the hand especially after the guy said I play very weak. I was about to come unglued. I dont think the play is weak. Its not like I was calling because I was afraid to get all in or anything. I called because at the time I thought it was the most +EV play and maybe it is, but next time Im pushing the turn anyway.

Ice I think your line was good. Though it's a possibilty he has something like [Ac]x, it's a much stronger possibilty he's full of shite or has a pair.

Since he folds the worst of it to your raises, I beleive your call is the best play. IT's all about longterm value.

I like your play preflop and on the flop. On the turn I would prefer a push, because the pot is so big already. I think mid pairs will call you on the turn, but will fold to an overcard on the river, or even think you might have the Q. It is a tough choice, I have to admit, given that you're not folding the hand anyway.
