I was confident that he didnt have an ace. TT never occurred to me. I thought maybe this was one time that the min check raise was some sort of bluff or a feeler with something like 88.

But as always, it was a monster.

i find that a min raise out of posiion or a min check raise is usually always a monster.

however, a min riase in position could mean other things: a bluff, a bluff setup for the next street, a cheap showdown (or planning to check the next street), a semi-bluff. i see it quite a bit with mid/high pocket pairs raising my CB on dry flops.
