I really don't know why I do this, seriously I know my opponent has a big hand, I flopped gin yet my brain forces my right hand to click check rather than leading out. I know it is the wrong play but I do it anyway.
Example:
8 players NL 50
I have UTG+1 with about 75$ and raise it to 2$, folded to a serious donk on the CO who has me covered, who min raises to 3.50$. Folded back to me, who opts to call rather than re-pop. Now against this donk who is 60/5/1, my notes are that he can't fold TP type hands nor does he make people pay much with his big hands. His Min-raise had to be AA, KK, QQ or at worst AK.
Flop comes out
I check here, dispite the fact I knew I should bet, villian then bets 1$ into an 8$ pot. So I figure I better just call here, despite the fact my hand will become more obvious.
Turn
Here I toss out a weakish lead again probably a mistake I bet 7$ into a 10$ pot, he then min-raises me to 14$ at which point I realized he was mine, no matter what I do.
Anyway I know I got a good result from the hand, however I still feel I made alot of mistakes especially playing the flop like a retard. I actually feel I let a player that only had 46 chromosomes get away from the hand too cheaply, what are your guys approaches against better players in these type of spots?
