Same table where I have a very rock-like image (somewhere around 12% VPIP).
I'm OTB with AdAsQc3d. 3 limpers and I make it $6.50 to go. Given my image, I'm not terribly excited about raising specifically AA here, but I have to start raising at some point. Well, I get no fewer than 4 callers. Just as an aside: BB is one of the guys whom I played at the 2/4, although only a few hands, in which he lost something like $500. Here, he looks generally fairly solid, significantly too loose for my taste, but somewhat on the tricky side and not stupid. He also has a very big stack of $225 at the beginning of this hand.
The flop is also not good for AA: 672r. But it's checked around. I bet it, although I think I should have just checked behind and waited for the turn, which could actually help my hand in several ways (like a 2 probably helps it and obviously an A, and with position, I can at least see what's going on). If I had built some kind of reputation for raising wraps, it might be tenable to bet here even in a 5-way pot, but I think that's too big a field for AA really to handle here (?).
Anyhow, I don't do that but bet pot and get check-raised pot by the 2/4 player in deep stack, who also gets an additional caller. At that point, I feel like it's a pretty easy fold, although I would have won the hand. Deep stack in fact has 8753 for open-ender with a pair (I think his play was pretty good, actually), but turn and river were both kings, so I would have ended up with a bigger two pair.
