lol... well, no, I thought you were doing fine before just too predictable. The direction you're going now is imo the way to really slaughter the game.

The main reason I like this way of playing the hand is that (given that you're obviously not laying down to a bet ever) you set up your overlays with top set vs. middle set by betting (or raising as the case may be) this kind of draw. Really simple as that.

I have no fundamental objection to the c-r here either, but I thought you were doing that just too much in the past. It definitely belongs in the mix but shouldn't be chronic imo.

A few general remarks about c-r and betting out:

First, it's obviously not good if c-r tends simply to mean big draw and betting out means made hand.

Secondly, there are two bluff types that get set up by betting out both: If the board pairs, and I have my draw still only, I half-pot. But this is only plausible if I always do that when I really do have the boat, too. If the board makes a straight and I still just have my set, I continue at pot, but this is also only plausible if I've bet out my good straight draws at pot.
