i just wanted to share some numbers on equity when drawing for a bare low. some comments:

- this sim assumes that you have absolutely no chance for high, and this is often not a valid assumption. as such, you often need to adjust these values up a bit.

- this assumes that all of your low outs available. this is also usually not true, so the numbers often need to be adjusted downwards a bit for this.

- of course, you can't see villain's hand, so you have no idea about whether you run the risk of getting quartered. again, this requires a downward adjustment.

- villain has quads with no low cards and hero can only go for low.

- note that the 4th low card adds very little additional equity over the third for the low draw, but in reality it can sometimes give you some equity for backdoor straight draws.

- note that the chance of the draw coming in is twice the equity, but since you only get half the pot....
