OK finished the VC Poker (Tribeca) $500 reload.

I ran at 9.62PTBB/100 on the $100 6 max according to my laptop, but that isn't correct as I tried two late night (post-midnight sessions) on my desktop with a view to recording them for you guys - I donked off about $450 and was playing like a tilty donkey!

Nevermind - overall up about $1000 (including bonus) at VC and I'm comfortable playing those tables now..I'll just keep it before midnight in future!


Will Hill £25 5 table hour bonus next then I'm not sure where.

Bonus Whores have a nice sign bonus listed at Tain network (Eurolinx site) that is $250 and releases at $11/table hour at the $200 6 max (so that would be $33/hr of bonus) plus the opportunity of RB if you play enough hands...

I haven't tried Tain before and it is PT compatible now, so it might be worth a look..

I hate tribecca...just hate how they play. Mostly like the kind of eurodonks I can't get my head around (reminds me a lot of B2B). ...I'm finishing the VC dep bonus right now and I think I won't be back...gonna give Prima a try.

That's interesting because I played at both b2b and tribeca for a fair amount of time - I absolutely despised b2b but loved tribeca. I won at about 5-6 ptbb/100 over a decent sample from NL50 to NL200 at tribeca, and I was break-even AFTER bonuses at b2b. I felt a huge difference in play..this was maybe 6 months back, maybe it's changed.

Also on a side note, I joined card runners a few days ago - I've only watched one video so far and it was well made, although I felt most of the stuff he taught I already knew. It was a 1/2 NL 6max video, so i'm hoping when I watch higher stakes i'll be able to pick up some new tricks.

I have got the same experience as Roy has. Tribeca was very good to me but b2b raped me.B2B is the only network were I have a negative balance. I think it is because the europeans that play there are only scandanavians.

I have given cardrunners a thought but what I hear from a lot of people on this site is that it changes your game and not always for the best. Just be carefull and only take out of it what you need and don't go copying the style. It must suit you. As we all are different people we all have different styles.

I think I am at the stage where I need to see what cardrunners is saying - I am likely to pick up some useful tips and it will help to read players who are playing by the book cardrunners style - who I'm bound to find at the $200 and $400 tables.

I almost always find that I lose money at first after reading a new book so I expect it will have a -EV affect whilst I integrate new concepts into my play, but it's a price I'm willing to pay - I've just learned to play at the bottom end of my stakes range whilst doing it.
