This is a move that I haven't used much if at all lately. How do you like it, is it something you have in your repertoire, what do you think the pros/cons are compared to C/R'ing OOP?

I quite like it here as it looks like you've maybe got 37 or a low set rather than 78 on the flop. That said it's not something I do frequently. It seems your opponent was so bad here he'd have stacked off anyway!

I don't really have it in my repertoire either, although I think on occasion (like this) it's not bad at all. I've just felt like there were a lot more important things to work on than when to make weak leads.

That being said, I don't think I'd ever make it quite that small, even if I did make weak leads. I think I'd always make it more in the 1/3 pot range, like maybe $12 or so here (pot is $30, right?)--if they're smart enough to interpret that as a clear weak bet, which I'm not completely convinced of.

I do think it's a sweet idea to introduce it in situations where they're likely to have some credibility issues but where you have the nuts with redraws--another good one would be something like top set with nut flush redraw on a board with minimal or no straight draws. Once you've done that for a while, then I think it also has a good place on ignorant end of the straight or some other hands that you think might be good but aren't sure about. But still trying to keep a good mix of at most half of the hands where you're willing to fold to a raise and then the remaining more than half where you're actually provoking a raise.

Also, while on this board 2 pair doesn't get priced in to fill up with only 4 outs even for $6 (assuming no implied odds), you would be giving a set odds to just call if you bet that low, particularly a set with runner-runner flush possibilities.
