BIG WORDS
It's good to know about four or five biggish words you can stuff into a conversation so you sound well read. Don't fuck them up the way black people do, but don't overuse them either. We recommend putting your fancy word next to a swear. Here are some examples: "…so she walks in all precocious like we give a shit," or "…and it's the same old pedantic bullshit he's always going on about," or "She's got this big fucking turgid zit right in the centre of her face."

I donno, Kuso I don't think the OP was that far out of line in any of these hands (except the PRF call in hand 1). There were some donk comments but there always are / always were, even when the 2+2 had good O8 discussion

Hand 1
I don't think it matters much, there isn't much equity to be won from this hand.
- Unless PRF is very aggressive I don't see a CB happening
- Unless someone is really bad (or you have a game that makes people play really bad like phil) I don’t see someone stacking off with a worse str8
- You have the redraw to a larger str8 but if someone has the same str8 it is only a 4 card free roll.

Personally I lead beacuse I don't want this checked around.

Hand 2
I agree that the PRF call was marginal, but he does have position and his A2 isn’t the worst in the world. I would fold PR but I don’t think a call is that large a leak.

The comment about implied odds was pretty donkish.

Hand 3
I don’t hate a milking raise from OOP with this hand and will even do it against certain tables. On the flop I think a raise and a call are both reasonable. I would raise just because it is unlikely that I am not ahead in this pot and I don’t want a set to bail out if my flush hits.

I don't think that Assani Fisher realizes that OP has the flush draw.

IMHO these are the types of hands that have a multiple lines that don't have a large EV difference. What is best for you depends on the table, your image, how well you read people, and how you like to play.
Rhound - I got 2 outted in a $2000 pot last year, I have also broke a cup in half playing catcher. The feelings were similar.

Hand 3 I strongly disagree that a raise is bad here. I think not raising the level of the playing field with this hand is probably a mistake.

Hand 1 I probably CR too but I'd concede that check-call is the best line.

Hand 2 I agree that OP definitely wants to be raising this hand preflop - if you're not raising this in LP I suspect you're not really raising enough. I'm not really sure that calling the raise is too bad once you limp but I take Kuso's point that this hand has limited high value. I suppose a lot depends on your read on the raiser. That said, you can take that decision away by just doing the simple thing and raising preflop.

I think all of the hands are fine. You can play some of them differently.
like in hand 1 i probably dont' call from blinds w HHHL, and if i do flop hard maybe i checkraise maybe not. Raising from the SB can go either way -- i probably raise more than i call w a A2TJds hand, but whatever.

Assani played under the very sneaky nickname of "AssaniFisher" at Party, and IIRC also as "IcyPots". at Stars i think he is something like "jwvdwc". He was pretty tight, solid, straightforward when i played with him. Not too difficult to play against, pay attention and you weren't likely to lose chips to him but wouldn't get much either -- tight passive preflop tight nitty postflop.

i have him as a losing player over 2k hands in my db. Of course, you have to take that with a grain of salt, after all that Hakallah guy is one of the biggest losing players in my db too.

The long run is longer than you think

i still want to know what the hell people are hoping to flop with a 7bb raise from the SB with a little shy of a half-stack and an overcall while holding A27Q suited to the Q.

i mean, if you can outplay these people after the flop and get them to fold if they board gets scary, that's one thing, but this hand just seems like you're begging to get quartered.

i'm seeing SB with AAxx and pushing just about any flop. that will leave him with a whopping $14 behind for "implied odds". i really want to see any kind of math that will show that this is a good call pf.

as i said before, make a few small changes (7 to H or wheel, 3bb bet instead of 7bb, deeper stacks, etc.), and it's an easy call, imo.

i must be fvcking PMSing...
