Three hands against the ultra Fish

I first notice this guy after he limp/calls a raise with 82o and then calls a flop bet with a gutshot wheel draw. I guess if you play 82o in EP and call a raise, you're playing everything. He re-buys to a double stack as well, guess he needs implied odds to play 82 profitably UTG. I will call him Fish, short and simple.

Hand #1 - JJ makes a set
Weirdo UTG raises to 20. He has a double stack and I have him covered. Fish with a double stack flat calls in LP. The guy I call weirdo has 3 different sorts of raises I've seen him do. The miniraise, the 10xBB raise and the open-push. Unfortunately he has not shown down a single hand. I would assume that the push is AA, the big raise is something like AK and KK-JJ, and the miniraise is probably Axs and low pps. No evidence to support this fact though.

Anyway, I have JJ in the BB and call.

Flop come KJ4, so far so good. Except they're all spades. Ok, if Weirdo has AA or QQ with the spade, we're almost coinflipping, if he has KK I'm dead if he has AK with the spade he's in bad shape but not horribly so. I guess he could have gotten extremely lucky with AQs.

So I check to see what happens. Weirdo checks too and Fish now bets 20. Ok.. I guess he could have the [As], a baby flush... TP? I dunno. I call. So does weirdo.

Turn is another spade, the [2s], and gets checked around. Ok, nobody has the [As] then?

River is a T, I check, weirdo checks and Fish bets 20. I call.

-------------------

Hand #2 - AJ makes top pair
Fish has 490 in the BB, I have him covered.
I've got AJo in MP, two limpers and I limp along. Two more limpers and both blinds play so we are 7 to the flop.

Board comes T5A with a diamond draw, I got no diamond. SB checks, Fish bets 12 and it is folded to me. I call as do the guy behind me, and the rest folds.

Turn is an off suit 2. Fish bets 22, I call and the other guy folds.

River is a Q and fish bets 29. I call.

-------------------

Hand #3 - Q9 makes trips
I got Q9o in the SB. 3 limpers and I complete, BB raps.

Flop comes 899 rainbow. I bet 8 (pot is 10) everyone folds to the LP Fish who calls. Turn is a K, I check, Fish bets 22 and I call. River is a 3, I check, Fish makes an over bet of 99. I call.

Hand #1 - You definitely need to check-raise huge on that flop or lead out strong. Check-calling was probably the worst possible way you could have played it - why let them catch a flush ultra-cheap and then pay them off when they get there? What are you hoping he is betting on that river with - A-K with no spade?

Hand #2 - Woulda raised it on the flop - find out if they've got 5-5 or A-10/A-5. Those are the hands you should be concerned, and the time to find out this information is on the flop (If he plays back all-in then the worst he could possibly have is 3[d]4[d] or J[d]Q[d], some sort of straight-flush draw). I just don't like letting people chase flush draws when you clearly could have the best hand.

Now because you didn't raise, you don't know if your good on the turn. As played, I would have still raised the turn to try and get more value/force out the flush draw and get an A-9/A-8 donk to commit.

As played to the river, gotta call it - if you were good, they probably didn't have K-J or Q-10 to get there.

You gotta stop calling weak bets on boards like this with others in the pot to act behind - start finding out whether your good or not ASAP in hands like these.

Hand #3 - I would have check-raised him on the turn to see if he has a 9 - if he pushes, go with your read. As played, your gotta check-call the river with no idea what he has - either it's a stone-cold bluff with J-10 or 8-7, or he's got A-9/K-9 and he's betting for value.

I don't see how you can't call him as played though.

I was considering pushing (ie: check/raising all-in) in hand #3 (with trips) but his overbet threw me. Earlier when he bluffed or bet a weak hand he bet small-ish. I figured he had a 9, so I wasn't sure my kicker was good. A9, K9 and 89 kills me, I beat J9 and T9 and 9x. He had 84o.

In the JJ hand I figured I would try to hit my boat getting cheap cards, but on the river I can't find a fold for another 20. Which is good, since he had [Jh] [6h].

Hand #2 he showed A9o and my better kicker won the day.

So I won all three. I think hand #1 and #3 I got the maximum from him by playing like I did. Not saying it is the correct play, but I think it happened to be the perfect play considering his hand. With double stacks I get cautious, with a normal stack I would play both hands much more aggressive.

Hand #2 I missed some value, I don't see him folding an Ace there, but he could very well have had A5, or T5 for that matter for a two-pair, and I didn't want to escalate the pot with so many players in.
