Had a nice dinner with a couple of friends and watched a decent movie (The Matador). Came home and played a few hands of 10-20 6 max for a small win to erase the shitty day I had yesterday.

Picked up a fairly easy 2.5 stacks in the 50 NL game. I am so at ease at those tables that I can almost sleep through the hands. Running at about 5 PTBB/100 at around 35K hands while mostly playing 8-10 tables at a time. Guess that win rate per 100 isn't going to break any records but playing 500+ hands per hour it isn't too shabby.

How to lose the maximum in an unraised pot with an overpair. Thanks sir.

Played just a smidgen of 2-7 TD at Stars last night and some low limit games this morning both for moderate wins.

Just picked up the Unearthed cd collection and listening to it. Some real good stuff.

Heading out to the store for some grub to cook up tomorrow for a small gathering. Been a long time since I added a recipe but here are a couple that shouldn't disappoint.

Bacon wrapped shrimp and scallops
big shrimps
scallops
bacon (about half a strip will wrap a shrimp or scallop, just use a toothpick to hold it around the scallop)
lime zest (grated lime skin)/ lime juice
roasted sesame seed oil (just a little)
green onions
crushed red pepper flakes
salt/pepper
425 for 10-14 minutes

Chicken lettuce wrap
chicken cut into pieces (get some chicken tender portion and cut up)
garlic, ginger, water chestnuts
green onions, shitaki mushrooms (save stalk for soup flavoring)
Orange zest (grated orange rind) + (orange slices to squeeze on chicken when ready to eat)
bell pepper, chinese BBQ sauce (hiosan)
iceberg lettuce (quartered)
salt/pepper
A little olive oil in skillet heated up, add chicken pieces and let cook a bit, add the mushroom tops cut up (if you use shitaki's the stem is too tough, take it off and use it for a nice soup flavoring), 3-4 cloves garlic and some grated ginger added after the mushrooms cook up a little along with some red bell pepper. Add the green onions and some grated orange rind to the mix with a little salt and pepper. After this add some Hoisin sauce (kind of a chinese BBQ sauce) and the water chestnuts sliced up a bit. Let it cook up a bit more. Quarter up a head of iceberg lettuce and use the leaves to wrap around a spoonful of your chicken stirfry.

Folia erecto-patula lineari-lanceolata, caviuscula, apice contracta, limbo angusto flavescente striato ubique circumdata, subulato-acuminata integerrima, nervo crasso solido flavido carinato superne (¾) evanido; cellulis basilaribus tenuioribus rectangulis, superioribus ovoideis chlorophylloso-cinctis parcius incrassatis pellucidis; perichaetialia parva, ovato-acuminata, enervia. Seta 4-5 linearis erectiuscula purpurea, vix apice scabriuscula parce incrassata. Pflanzen grün, schlaff, dicht beblttert, so kräftig wie die var. b. Blätter trocken sehr verbogen und gedreht, etwas breiter als bei der Stammform, auch im allgemeinen kürzer zugespitzt, und weniger rinnig gekielt. Blattzellen dünnwandig, bis in die Spitze hinein kurz rhomboidisch, wie 1:2. Sehr verbreitete Art, besonders in der Hochgebirgsregion, an Baumrinde und Pflanzenresten, selten auf Blättern.

Daltonia latimarginata var. madagassa Renauld, Prodrome de la Flore Bryologique de Madagascar des Mascareignes et des Comores 292. 1898. Type: Madagascar: Ankeranadinika, 1400 m (possibly Dorr or Motelay).

Diffère de la plante de La Réunion par ses feuilles plus larges et plus courtes, par le pédicelle courbé au sommet et la capsule plus allongée, oblongue. Dans les spécimens originaux de La Réunion, la capsule est subglobuleuse, ce qui distingue cette espèce, ainsi que le pedicelle plus court, du D. scaberula Mitt. de Ceylan. Il est possible que la décoouverte dechantillons plus complets de la plante d'Ankeranadinika autorise à la séparer spécifiquement du D. latemarginata si les différences dans la forme de la capsule offrent de la fixité.
