I read somewhere good players NL cash players limp a lot from the SB when it's folded to them. Someone tell me what kind of hands I should be limping with or whether or not that's just crappy advice?

In 6max most of the time I raise or fold when it's limped to me in the blinds. What I'd do here depends on whether I think BB will fold to a PFR. I'm sure there are other ways to play from the SB, though.

That's just crappy advice. Good NL cash players raise or fold a lot when it's folded to them in the SB, limping is just horrible (as a good player in the BB is going to raise your limp with any 2 a good % of the time and then you either give up your blind or play a raised pot OOP with a marginal, at best, hand). JT is more than good enough to raise here so raise PF.

Why would you raise this hand preflop?

Risk 4BB to win 1BB, then have to play a raised pot out of position with a marginal hand when you get called?

Stoneburg are pro limp or pro fold preflop?

Just in general, I know it always depends.

you need to raise or fold because a good BB will start raising you when you limp, and you can't profitably call his raise OOP.

i would usually just fold this. maybe raise 1/3 or 1/4 of the time.
