I know, I know.
Well I got back from Melbourne a couple of nights ago and haven't played too much since then. I put in a short session yesterday 8-10 tabling the nl100 tables but that was a disaster as I started off losing with botom 2 allin vs an overpair on the flop, then aces vs QT on a Q766 board when a Q came on the river. I then tilted off $100 or so and stopped.
Last night I made a decision to move up in limits fairly aggressively and improve my game. I've been stuck at NL 200 for too long now and I feel i'm beating the game pretty consistantly (3.50 ptbb/100 over 80k hands or so, and 7.50 ptbb/100 over the past 20k hands). So today I fired up 4 tables of NL 400 and ran/played well for a nice little win. I had to stop pretty soon into my session as my damn computer started freezing up and the internet crashed at least twice. I dunno what the problem is, I think i'll format tomorrow though and see if that fixes things. This month is still going pretty damn well, although, I don't think i've even put in 40 hours of online play. That is just ridiculous. Either way i'm up about $7k, and if I make $10k for the month i'll be very pleased.
Todays session results: 38 minutes, +$965.43.
Poker is silly.
It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.
Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
