Do I repop preflop? Is there anything I can do which doesn't make me give up so weakly without turning my hand into a bluff?

6-max i check/call flop almost always. if the turn is an 8 i'll lead out. if it's a 9 i'll CR. otherwise check/fold 80% of the time and lead out 20% of the time. most 6-maxers @ $100NL aren't firing 2nd barrels too often.

i also probably reraise PF about 20% of the time.

Well that's his point. If you checkraise here why can't you just checkraise with any two, if we're called we're done with the hand.

Same with leading out, you could lead out here and if you get raised you have to fold.

Unless you're leading flop, getting called and then planning to get to showdown. Then I can see some difference between doing this with J10 or 99.

CR flop for info = bad.

CR flop to bluff out QQ/JJ/TT = good, IF villain will fold overpairs to flop CR. i personally wouldn't expect most players to fold very often.

and i think there's no guarantee that villain will reraise when he's ahead. if i'm villain and i have an overpair i am probably not folding to a flop CR on this board. i probably put you on JJ-99, call the flop, and get some more $$$ from you on the turn or river.

most "good" players at these stakes in hero's position would lead flop with a set, or reraise PF with AA-QQ. a flop CR against a tight/good player first of all lets him play pretty much perfectly, and second lets him bluff you off on almost any turn.

i also think leading this flop is pretty bad
