Problem for you is that by the river you only beat two hands JJ and AK. After the check/raise on the flop and the check/call on the turn, JJ should be feeling cautious and would probably be prone to check behind or make a small bet. So if you beat something, it is AK.
The big overbet makes sense if he has TT or if he is a thinking player with AA/KK (then he has figured out that you have a lower overpair and probably feel committed). Since thinking players are a bit rare I think it's more likely that he has TT or AK.
