I just bought poker tracker last week and I was wondering what you guys have found the most usefull and how you guys use it. So far I have been data mining, leaving 4 tables up at empire at all time and getting as many hands as I can. I'm up to almost 17k. Also espcially in NL showdown % won is very important. I have not had a good run and i'm at 39%. I have read that for limit somewhere in the 55-60 range is very good. Is this the same for NL? Any other good ways to use tracker would be apprciated.

Hey Iceman, what do you do for info on other players? Do you let it run and get as many hands as possible or do you just let in run for some time before you sit at a table?

Iceman, it sounds like you have earned the right to be a little cocky. What I have been doing at Empire is have tables run 24/7 so that I can get as many hands cataloged as I can. I figure I spent money on PT I should get as much out of it as I can.

I always thought that it wouldnt collect the data unless you were at the table. Im almost positive its that way at Stars.

yes at Party you can data-mine like this if you want - to be honest with so many players at $25 tables I just use it for 30-60 minutes before I play a table so i have data on the players I want - data-mining by bots for it's own sake just seems a little dodgy to me and if there are a lot of complaints I can imagine Party could shut that facility down

of course using the new hand-grabber you can also data mine at UB now (I checked this out tonight)

What am I missing?? I have sat at Party games and never get any histories unless I am seated at the table..

Any help??

you need to configure PT to import observed histories - I think my article on the main page deals with this
