I'm a bit surprised by the disrespect A655s gets! I'll play that in LP and the SB every time and never considered it marginal. OTB or in the SB I will play ANY suited Ace since in this game, not only will the K flush pay you off, but the 9-high flush. People also tend to bet too small (giving me good odds to chase a naked flush draw) and chase too much themself. Of course I won't hit a great flop that often, but sometimes I'll get an OESD+FD, set+FD, made straight with FD etc etc. I will of course get into some marginal situations, but I think opponent tendencies make up for it. Then again, I haven't been a huge winner yet in PLO here (NL Hold'em is most profitable so far, on Party it was the other way around).
In super-loose and pretty passive games, I would assume your starting hand requirements open up a lot.
