Well finally I got in a session, 8-tabled for a few hours and had pretty mediocre/bad results. Down about $440, even after I stacked Allstar when I had KK > JJ preflop (i'd been 3betting him/the whole table a lot and JJ was by far ahead of my range). Then Hard2tel came and sat down in the very seat Allstar left from and managed to get about $100 off me. He raised preflop (he'd been doing this a lot) and someone called, I re-raised with JQs and they both called. The flop came Q43r and I bet, he shoved and the other guy folded. I folded (probably a bad fold) and he left the table. He comes into IRC and apparently that wasn't hard2tel playing, it was his friend - hard2tel is totally drunk and letting his buddy play his stars account. So I ask what he had that hand and he says 66. Naturally I challenge him to a $1,000 HU match (declined) but we setled on playing a $200 match which I won.
I made like 4,000 FPPs this session which is pretty sweet as bonus/rakeback for 3 hours play. It works out to like $21/hr. All up my losses were about $180 after the HU match and FPPs so that's pretty decent. I'm gonna try get another huge session in later tonight when the donks are at their finest.
Poker is silly.
It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.
Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
