Yikes... Scary 1:st hand on stars: (6 MAX 200NL)

I post in BB and am dealt [Qc][Jc]

Flop:

[3s] [3c] [6c], Pot $6

I lead $4, folded to button who calls (We both have $200)

Turn: [8c], Pot $14

I lead $14, button calls.

River: 2 (I think), Pot $42.

I lead $40, he thinks for 15 seconds before pushing all in.

I take my time... slowplayed 66 ? possibly 88, another flush..

I decide I can't fold, though I'm not sure exactly what I beat, so I call.

He has [9c][Tc]

I'm still not sure it was a good river call though, I could just as often be beat by higher flush or FH here. I guess my hand could have looked like trips to him though, but in his place I dont think I would chase flush on that flop.

I'm playing really really shitty, I don't recognise myself anymore, this morning I had the 2 following hands:

Flop

UTG limps
I raise to $8 on button with [Ah][Qs]
BB and UTG calls

Flop
[2s][As][Ts]

Checked to me, who bet $20 into a $24 pot, BB calls, UTG goes all in ($200), I call for some reason (TP + 2nd flush draw I guess). BB calls.

BB has baby flush, UTG [Js][8s], and I miss my draw.

Bye stack #1.

I guess it was a fold to all in, hoped UTG was an idiot I guess.

The next hand illustrates how bad I play right now:

SB completes, I check BB with Q9 hearts (it's 4 handed)

Flop:
[Th][Kh][6s]

Nice, I pick up a flush and gutshot draw, SB bets $6, I raise to $25 SB calls:

Turn:
[6h]

SB leads for $20, I'm so happy about my flush I don't even care about the paired board, I reraise to $60, SB push all in, I call... wtf..

I don't know why I just didn't call turn/river, all that was going though my head was, "there's no way he has a set here". K6 didn't even cross my mind, that's a sign of bad play if anything.. He has K6, bye bye stack #2.

Loose another $100 with KK UTG against button on a AT6 flop, i bet flop, he calls, turn is brick, check/check, river brick, check/calll his $35 bet, he has AQ.

i need to take a break but I don't have the discipline for it, when I'm playing bad I feel more like playing than ever... going to watch some cardrunners now.

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."

Oh man...

Been blowing away some more buyins last couple of days, my graph looks like mount everest, its so depressing I'm not even going to post it. November is now a negative month. That will be my first negative month ever.

Current downswing is now a total -12 buyins, didn't think it was possible. I played better yesterday, 1 bluff which was a bit ballsy and went wrong. The other hand I still think I played OK, can't fold to his all in here IMO.

forum/viewtopic.php?t=20260

I've lost full buyin on nearly all my flopped sets the last week, they are usually my moneymakers, no wonder my BR takes a hit. Twice set over set has cost me > full buyins.

I'm taking a few days off, after that I'm prepared to lose 2 more buyins at 200 NL before I drop levels, but this weekend will be a poker free one.

End of november

November ended up in the positive after all, about +$1000 after 8K hands.
This week has been decent and I even made a set over set (Pokerstars still owes me 1 though) and took another poor guys big stack.

I'm playing better and more confident now again and hopefully I can get this streak to continue for a while and I have no doubt december is going to be a bigger month.

I've gone through all GP's cardrunner video's so now I'm moving on to the guest pro's videos. I've looked through some and its amazing how similar to GP they play.

Running hot again, I always do that at the start of the month. Havoc'ing the 1/2 at the moment, great feeling but prob not for long...

http://www.pokerhand.org/?642943

A flop bluff turned into a value hand. Pretty sure villain is a very active 2+2'er, I almost felt sorry for him with the turn card and all, but it sure felt good. Unimproved turn i would have given it up. I can't wait to find this hand posted on 2+2.

Suckout of the day

A blind fight with a VERY nice turn card.

1 1/2 hour session, up $600 :)

BR: Finally over 6K again.

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

Haha wait till you get to 2/4. I make my living off of proffessional poker players/2+2ers I think.

The sky is the limit

My brother who plays 1/2 6 max at Party told me Party was still fishy Euro evening time.

The last months I've been playing Stars mostly so I decided to give party another shot and boy am I glad I did :D

There is a remarkable difference in player level between Stars & Party, what I noticed right away is that PPL let you limp more in party not at all as aggresive PF as Stars is.

Party also has a lot more loose limpers and loose callers after flop, value bets goes way up. I don't bluff nearly as much as on Stars.

The guy in this hand just shocked me with his holdings, fantastic:

forum/viewtopic.php?t=20848

I've only played 3 days on Party now but so far I am destroying the 1/2 tables. Currently at 27 PTBB in small sample. If I can play the whole month out and stay over 10 PTBB its awesome. 4 tabling 6 max at 10 PTBB is enough to keep me happy anyday.

And that officially ends my 12 buyin losing streak and I am up on a new all time high BR.

A sweet little weekend session at Party.

I get AT from BB on a AT5 flop, we get it all in and I stack buttons A5 for $450.

I had the same situation the day before where I had botton 2 against top 2 on a
AT4 flop (I had A4 in BB), button had AT, at least I only lost $50 on that hand, the guy above lost his whole stack.

I stack another guy with 22 on AA2 flop, other guy has A3 and can't get away, another big stack, ty.

New all time high BR, currently at 15PTBB at party this month (1/2 6max), though its only a couple of K hands :)

I loose a stack with AA on a T44 board, only one opponent postflop who of course has K4 (called a $12 raise PF9, well it is Partypoker right.

Partypoker is fantastic:

UTG bets $10 PF (he only has $60), MP calls, folded to me in BB, I have AA. I reraise to $35, UTG reraises all in $60, MP thinks long about this but calls $50. Around to me, I reraise to $100, MP thinks long again and call.

Flop:

J84o

I put all in for $100, MP calls and flip over 66.... Partypoker lol...

Ofcourse UTG has JJ and drag $150 of the pot, at least I made $120.

I saw even worse players yesterday, one idiot shortstack minraises UTG, then calls my reraise PF from button wtih 57o.. Of course he hits his 2 pair on flop and wins a $80 pot.

I'm hoping for this to be my first tilt session free month, usually i have 1 or 2 really negative sessions where i loose 2-3 buyins and get really pissed of. So far this month I haven't had any but I've only played 4K hands,. So far I've been staying out of trouble and currently running at 20 PTBB this month at Party while playing 5x 1/2 tables :D Sure hope it keeps up until christmas.
