I obvoulsy would never fold this hand. My only decision was between calling and pushing.

I thought that there was a small chance he had a higher boat. Normally when someone makes a HUGE overbet like this on the river, they have a monster. Of course in this case, the monster could be the for the "nut" flush.

I also thought that there was a small chance that the moron in EP would call with the if I just called.

Pushing is probably better but these 2 reasons are why I just called. EP thought for a long time so he either was away from him computer...or he had the and almost called. But he folded.

At what level of donkification did you have EP? At the level he'd where he'd maybe fold for $100 that he'd call $75? One more likely to push the last $25, but fold to $100? Or the level where it didn't mater because "WOWIE!!! HE HAD A FLUSH!!" and the looked amazing?

I just don't like the call if you think the SB's doing this with the . I'm guessing you just put a low level of scrutiny of the possibiliy v. the bigger boat/straight flush possibility?

Well after seeing the , I know I lost value

SB had about $120 left AFTER he bet the $75. I didnt think there was any way he would call a push with just the , so I guess I just called to try to get EP to overcall with the which I really think he had. He definately had a high .

I have to admit though that the $75 bet shocked me so much that it took me a while to figure out what the heck just happened and I didnt have time to think it thru clearly before the time ran out.

It was possible he made a mistake and didnt mean to bet that much and maybe EP had the and would call if I just called.
