I had in MP, four off the button. 4/8 limit hold'em, nine handed, pretty loose game, but the 3 to my right are playing pretty tight. I raise to $8 preflop, cutoff, button, SB and BB call. Flop is seen five way.
Pot is $40. Flop come down . I like it alot. Checks to me, I bet out. Cutoff and button fold, SB and BB call.
The SB is a woman who has shown one or two hands where she had TP w/o a kicker, and she lost both hands...she has shown even though she didn't need to. BB is someone who if he catched any pair or draw on the flop will probably call down the whole way, so I am happy now...until the turn.
Pot is $64. Turn is . SB now bets out, BB calls.
Does the SB have the nine? This is the only question that rings through my brain. The pot has ten big bets and it will cost me at least two to see the river. I think for about ten seconds, and then fold.
River was the . SB and BB both check...I now think I made a mistake.
SB had , and BB won the hand w/ 76o. I almost lept out of my seat because I couldn't believe it...I felt like a move was put on me, and it was, even if she didn't realize it.
Now I think I played it wrong, maybe I should have been aggressive and raised to find out where I was which would have cost the same amount and punished the BB for staying in w/ his crap. Either that or called down the turn...but I really thought I was drawing to two outs. This woman proceeded to buy in twice more while I sat there...and I didn't even sit there more than two hours.
So, what would you have done?
