This came up in a $15 turbo I'm just playing (note: players are very bad at this level)

I doubled up early, and then picked up AKo in late pos only few hands later.

Suppose I know he has TT-QQ, is this a bad play? Should I avoid such coinflips and flat call with AKo, even though I cannot go broke here?

If your pattern mapper tells you you'll pair up, then take the worse side of the coinflip. Otherwise, no. You want to preserve your big stack, not put it in on the worse side of a coinflip. Why make it 52% likely you lose half your stack?

Preflop I very rarely re-raise with AK other than all-in. I like to call and see the flop without bloating the pot. If there were a limper or someone calling the raise ahead of you, then I like raising all-in (the overlay in the pot makes up for the times you're taking the worse side of the coinflip and get called).
