I only do it against short stack players, mostly to be funny
i'll give you an example.
I open to $24 with AK. i get called by a guy behind me, who has $35.
the flop comes 229. he has $11 left. I bet $10.95. no real reason, I just want to see if i can get him to call that and then check it down afterwards. *shrugs*
he pushed, i tanked and called the extra nickle. he had A2. what a ****** donkey. I knew i shoulda folded.

I thought about this ... just started using it to my advantage in SNG's ... why raise 3X the big blind when 2.69 times will cause the same threat? Why not bet 3.28 times the pot instead of 3X when you know you've got it? ... those extra few chips every time mean +EV.
Started being a decimal bettor when the sliding scrolly thing will allow it.
